Singapore

Day 3: Buffet breakfast of course.

Bus trip to Sentosa island for a day of being kids at the adventure water park. Slip Slop Slap, stuff in lockers and water proof cameras charged. Thanks family for the money the cameras are awesome and so is the footage, a little taste on the link below. This park rocked, a river meanders around the entire park while you float down stream with jungle themes and sounds, stingrays and fish swim past you as you float in a cool oasis. Rock climbing harnesses on and we clamber around a course balancing high above the clouds (joff is not so good with heights he realised). Water maze and slides, wave machines and commando courses. Beautiful Laksa for lunch. Day was topped of by snorkelling in a reef with the kids, beautiful fish and rays………… deffinitely the highlight of the day hands down.

Now to leave the island via cable car with spectacular views of Singapore…….

Kids were roasted so a rest was well deserved back at the hotel. In the cool of the evening we caught a taxi to the Marina by the sands https://g.co/kgs/RHuKcp, what an amazing hotel with a boat sculpture straddling the two towers which has a pool at the very top, well out of our budget. From the hotel we walked across the tree lined walkway towards the Gardens by the Bay.https://g.co/kgs/1Tvvi6 . I can’t explain how beautiful this horticultural, futuristic paradise is. Large man made tree sculptures covered in plants and LED’s, all growing from a bio mass infrastructure below. two large atriums filled with rainforests, flowers and walkways. Paths that meander through different themes of plant life which finally make there way to the food court. OMG Satay chicken heaven. Everything from frogs, crabs, beer and sweet treats. We consumed chicken satay, La La mussels and prawn omelette. With tired bodies, full bellies we returned back to the comfort of bed….
